The Goedgedacht Trust is a non-profit organization located in the Riebeek Valley that was established in 1993. Its main aim is to help transform disadvantaged rural communities in the Western Cape by providing opportunities for the younger generation to become healthy, confident, and educated leaders in their own communities.
From 2014 to 2019, I was responsible for designing the layout and typesetting of the charity's annual reviews. These reviews were 594mm wide x 630mm high and were folded down to an A5 size for distribution by post. The beautiful illustrations used in the layouts were created by a number of artists commissioned by the organization and supplied to me for use. Each year had its own theme and the beautiful illustrations and layout explained this to potential charity patrons along with the usual detailed financial statements and expense reports.
